I suggest adding an extra argument for some of the methods that make changes to the objects. Named : Redraw
Example :

--Prototype :
ComboBox:SetEditText(Object,Text,Redraw)

--Use :
ComboBox:SetEditText(ComboBox1,"SDS",false)
